Anvil Falls runs/will soon run in these newspapers throughout Maine
The Sun Journal is the flagship newspaper of Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties – the heart of Maine’s mill-town revival. The Sun Journal was the first paper to pick up Anvil Falls in early 2023.
Central Maine Sunday, The Augusta Morning Sentinel and The Kennebec Journal cover Waldo, Somerset, Franklin and Kennebec counties, serving 73 cities and towns in Central Maine.
The Portland Press Herald is a daily newspaper based in South Portland, with a statewide readership. The Press Herald mainly serves southern Maine and is focused on the greater metropolitan area of Portland. The Maine Sunday Telegram is the Press Herald’s Sunday paper.
The Harpswell Anchor serves Harpswell Neck, Orr’s Island, Bailey Island, Great Island, and Cundy’s Harbor.

Traits: Best friends Prescott and Louie bring to mind the joy and wonder of the simple life that many find in rural Maine (and the simple mind in Prescott's case).
Name: Jack B. Bear
Occupation: accountant
Traits: Jack the bear speaks for the quieter, more intellectual kind of independence found among those free spirits who hibernate amid cabins in the Great Northern Woods, except during tax season.
Name: Washburn Beaver
Occupation: town manager
Traits: Wash represents the industrious, mill-working ethos of Maine with a healthy dose of stubbornness added for good measure
Name: Benjamin D. Foxcroft

Name: Kenny Bunkporter
Occupation: retired movie star
Traits: Newest arrivals to town Kenny (just in from the West Coast) and his lawyer, Ben (from Boston), show that even the wicked weird perspectives of those "from away" are welcome in Anvil Falls, as long as they keep said opinions to themselves. Kenny is currently filming a documentary about life in Anvil Falls. Rumor has it Kurt Russell is in talks to play Washburn.
